Find out how I can support you if you have an Access to Work award, or if you're thinking about applying.

Access to Work Support

If you're self-employed with an award, you're dealing with Access to Work directly, so I can help with the practical side too, including finding a support worker experienced with neurodivergent clients, arranging equipment purchases, and managing claims.

Are you self-employed, with an award?

If you've been awarded ADHD coaching or coping strategy sessions, I can deliver this directly.

BOOK A DISCOVERY CALL

Ready to talk it through?

Access to Work is a UK government scheme that can fund extra workplace support for disabled and neurodivergent employees and self-employed people.

If you're thinking about self-employment but worried about the elements of running your own business that feel overwhelming or too difficult, Access to Work support might be a good fit for you.

A discovery call can help you think it through before you start trading. I'm not an Access to Work assessor and can't advise on equipment or guarantee a particular outcome – that's decided through the official assessment.

The support I offer sits alongside that process, not in place of it.

Cost is worked out within your awarded amount – we'll talk through what's possible at the discovery call.

Are you considering self-employment?

Ready to talk it through?

A discovery call is a free, 30-minute conversation – no pressure, no obligation. We'll talk about what you're looking for and whether working together feels like the right fit. You'll come away with clarity either way.

Navigating Access to Work can feel like yet another system to figure out on top of everything else – and what's most useful will depend on where you are in that process.

I won't make promises about exactly what will shift, because everyone's situation is different.

What I can guarantee is that every session is confidential and free of judgement.

Within that space, you might come away with a clearer picture of what to ask for in an assessment, or a plan for how to raise it with your employer. Or, if you already have an award, a sense of how to actually use what's been agreed, rather than feeling overwhelmed by the paperwork and not knowing where to start.

How you might benefit

Senior Leader

"Working with Sharon has given me clarity, focus and confidence over time. Each session has offered a safe space to explore ideas, reflect deeply and challenge myself, while keeping me accountable to my goals. The coaching has been a powerful way to accelerate change and stay on track."

"Sharon is amazing. She helps me find a lot of insights into aspects of myself that I don't always see (or understand from when others in my life try to convey the same thing). She is bubbly, fun and positive. And we've found lots of practical actions to take to move me forward."

"In each session, Sharon meets me exactly where I'm at and shows me so much care and kindness. Sharon has helped me look at the challenge through an ADHD lens. Sometimes, that is helping me accept the situation, and sometimes that's showing me ways to overcome an issue or reach a goal by being aware of what's needed for an ADHD brain to function. I'm very grateful that I've been able to work with Sharon. It feels like I'm with an understanding friend who wants the best for me."
